Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the most common queries about
IndiGo CarGo tracking, delays, and deliveries.
How do I track my IndiGo CarGo shipment?
Enter your 11-digit air waybill number or bare 8-digit serial in the tracking box above — the 312 airline prefix followed by the 8-digit AWB number (e.g. 312-12345678 or 94974784), with or without the dash. You will see the booking and acceptance record, every flight the cargo was manifested on, departure and arrival scans at each airport, and the delivery order once the consignment is handed over.
What does an IndiGo CarGo air waybill number look like?
It is an 11-digit number printed as 312-12345678: the first three digits are always 312, IndiGo's IATA airline prefix, and the remaining eight digits are the AWB serial number. You can also enter the 8-digit serial number directly (e.g. 94974784). You will find it on the shipper's copy of the air waybill issued at booking.
How long does IndiGo CarGo take to deliver?
Air cargo moves on scheduled passenger and freighter flights, so transit between two directly connected stations is usually same day or next day. Consignments routed through a transshipment hub such as Delhi typically arrive within one to two days, after which the consignee collects the cargo from the destination terminal.
What does "Manifested" mean in IndiGo CarGo tracking?
Manifested means your consignment has been assigned to a specific flight's cargo manifest at the named station — for example 6E6245 from Delhi. It is the step between acceptance at the terminal and the flight's departure. A second Manifested scan at another airport means the cargo was transferred to a connecting flight there.
Why is my IndiGo CarGo tracking not updating?
Scans are recorded at flight events — manifest, departure, arrival — so there are natural gaps while the cargo waits at a terminal or between connections. If nothing changes for more than 24 hours, the shipment may have been offloaded to a later flight; contact the IndiGo cargo terminal at the station shown in the last scan.
My AWB shows "does not seem to be valid AWB Number". What does that mean?
IndiGo's system returns this message when the AWB number is not in their records — either the number was mistyped or the air waybill has not been entered into the system yet. Check the 8 digits after the 312 prefix against your air waybill copy, and try again a few hours after booking.
What is a delivery order (DO) in IndiGo CarGo tracking?
The delivery order is the document the destination terminal issues authorising the consignee or their agent to collect the cargo. Once issued, Track91 shows the DO number, who it was issued to, and a link to the PDF copy from IndiGo's system.
Can I track IndiGo CarGo without an AWB number?
No. Track91 needs the 11-digit air waybill number to fetch your consignment. If you do not have it, ask the shipper for the AWB copy issued at booking, or contact the IndiGo cargo booking counter where the shipment was tendered.
My cargo arrived at the airport. How do I collect it?
Once tracking shows Arrived at the destination station, the consignee named on the air waybill can collect the cargo from the IndiGo cargo terminal at that airport. Carry a government photo ID and the AWB copy; terminal storage charges may apply if the cargo is not collected within the free period.
Is Track91 affiliated with IndiGo CarGo?
No. Track91 is an independent tracking tool that fetches live air waybill status for your IndiGo CarGo consignments. For bookings, rates, claims, or terminal queries, use the official 6ecargo.goindigo.in website or contact IndiGo's cargo customer service.
