Printing

Dispatched via India Post
The printed card is handed over to India Post with a Speed Post AWB number, which you can use to follow the delivery journey to your address.
Delivered
India Post delivers the card to the address registered in your Aadhaar. Delivery typically completes within 5-15 working days of ordering.

How long does the Aadhaar PVC card take to arrive?
UIDAI prints and hands over the card to India Post within 5 working days of the order. Delivery via Speed Post usually takes another few days depending on your location, so most cards reach the registered address within 5 to 15 working days.
What does "Print Retry" mean?
It means the printing of your card is being reattempted at the print facility. No action is needed from you — the status will move to "Print Completed" once printing succeeds, and the card is then handed over to India Post for dispatch.
Why did I receive a refund for my order?
If UIDAI is unable to process your order — for example due to a data validation issue — the order is cancelled and the ₹50 fee is refunded to your original payment method. You can place a fresh order on the myAadhaar portal afterwards.
Can I track the delivery after dispatch?
Yes. Once dispatched, the status includes an India Post Speed Post AWB number which can be tracked for doorstep delivery updates until the card reaches the address registered in your Aadhaar.
